when it comes to tracking your bets. I know most people aren't but I wonder if anyone can relate.
The primary thrust of my actions is I do not want to know any in-game partial scores for games I have bets on. I will go to some lengths to avoid such information. I only want to know final scores.
So when I am looking at SBR lines after some games have begun, I will go to the last unstarted game and click on a line history so it will push all the in-progress games down and right off my screen. I don't want to see scores. I don't even want to see the red dots that represent baserunners at the edge of my vision.
If a sports update is starting on TV I flip the channel. I have even been in a situation where I was sitting on the toilet and I could hear a sports update starting in the next room, and I will start singing to drown it out.
Obviously I avoid forum threads that appear likely to have in-game reports on games I bet.
And I don't particularly want to get final scores through the day either. Like even though I have 3 afternoon bets today and I could probably get all the finals at 6, I will probably not check them until midnight or whatever. I average 9-10 MLB bets a day and I prefer to get all my results at once.
My method of checking the scores is a whole peculiar little thing in itself but I won't even get into it right now.
Anyone relate to that at all?
