I am not that calculating however I did realize when I set out that there were two directions the discussion could go: surprisingly mature 13 year-old girls, or melancholy feelings of nostalgia over lost youth.

I will not claim to be surprised that the former has dominated.

2) The whole thing made me sad. I suppose it's all about my own unfulfilled potential. I won awards at various ages and maybe people made comments about how I was likely to change the world. I dunno, it just made me a bit melancholy. I want to go back and try again.
