By the way, I found out what was behind that big blockade of humanity on Yonge St. that gummed up our travels. Apparently there was a protest/march against the policies of mayor Rob Ford.

Many of the protesters said they were concerned about cuts to public services and also attacked plans to privatize community housing.

I guess it's good people stand up for what they believe and exercise their democratic rights - but they really shouldn't do it while Blitty is in town.
