Something good about what they're doing down there. They're hanging out, communicating, organizing. It's like there's real people power in there. They seem prepared to hang out indefinitely.
I'm afraid there will be some crackdown soon. Pretty amazing though.

The US needs to intervene in some other country's internal affairs. They have been doing this for the last 100 years.

Most likely they will attempt to throw the protesters a bone. Maybe moving around some faces but keeping the power in mostly the same hands. The only thing that matters to the US is they want a government that's willing to exploit it's own people for the interests of foreign business, US hegemony, stability.

Interesting thing is that there's a lot of information out now, people aren't as ignorant. Also a strong crackdown could set off more protests and chaos in the region. Anything can happen, a victory by the forces of repression is no longer a guarantee.

Well there! I don't mind lending a helping hand as long as they are properly documented into the country. And then see that they get a job no matter what country they end up in from there!
