You are like that kid we all knew growing up who always talked about the new toy or game he was gonna get just so the other kids would play nice with him in order to get to play with it. The same kid who always made up everything in his life to attempt to be more interesting in an attempt to make friends. The same kid who wanted friends so desperately but had no clue that the reason he didn't have any was because he was such a tool.

Some people took pity on that kid, I just hated the little fucker.
