The best time is when the 2016's come out, they want the 2015's off the lot. Right now, you may be able to see some 2014's that they will deal generously on. Dealers will offer the demo's also. The nice thing about demos are the salesmen will take them home for 4-6 months and can only put 5K miles on them. Any minor problems will be fixed at the dealer before they advertise it.

My father had worked at a car dealership for 10 years, he knew what cars were coming in from auctions.

I'm actually looking for a second vehicle and was told that late September is a a good time to look because as you said the newer models 2016's will be coming out and they will want to get rid of the 2015's.

:lmao: fukkin house too nasty

reno, you like the 2doors i see... i would give a serious look at an older es300 or one of those smaller lexus... they will run forever and stay stylish... get from a dealer so you get the warranty and all that shit... as long as the warranty was on point, i would have no problem buying a lexus with 75-100k miles

I do like the 2 doors, they seem more sporty and efficient for my purposes. I used to do just as you say, get a reliable brand with just under 100k miles and run it to ~150.

Might go that route but I'm kinda tired of used cars, feel like the dealerships mostly overvalue their used cars, and I don't know if I have the energy anymore fore dealing with private sellers, worrying about if the papers are in order and passing emissions etc.

I bought my one and only new car in 2003. Mitsubishi Eclipse it was. One year later I was broke and sold it to a teenage girl, for a bargain basement price.

Maybe time to try again :dunno:
