No Steven, to "make a left/right" would imply that one TURNED in that direction, but in your theory, you did not actually turn in that direction, only the one.

It's true. Sort of. If you take 3 lefts, you are only coming up on the port side of yourself where you started. You need the 4th left to get back to your original position.

So if that was the point being made - and I'm not positive about that - but then yeah, absolutely.

Otherwise maybe not.
