Haven't been out of the country in 34 years.

I wouldn't mind going a few places. Like maybe Cuba with Plommer, visiting Canadian Gamelive friends, perhaps my home Belorussia.
But mostly I don't have much of a desire to visit popular places as a stranger/tourist. And then when you throw in the paper work, airport security, long flights, the fleecing of tourists. blah

Reno, what are your top 5 favorite spots in Colorado?

I spent a tiny bit of time there on 3 occasions and I was over whelmed with all that the state has to offer

not even on the top 5 list though is the crazy airport for conspiracy theorists

that place is awesome

Can I answer?

1) Conundrum hot springs. Highest hot springs in North America at 12,000 feet elevation. Quite the view for soaking. 9 mile strenuous hike to keep the riffraff out.

2) Linger restaurant. Street-food from around the world made fancy and unbelievably tasty. Great drinks that will also fuck you up in a hurry. Beautiful setting and Little Man Ice Cream right outside when you're ready for desert.

3) Telluride. Kind of the perfect mountain town. Crazy-beautiful with a lot going on. Perfect summer music-festival scene.

4) Valley View hot springs. This is a new one to me. An incredible piece of land with many natural hot pools to soak in. Middle of nowhere, with lots of wildlife. More deer than people. Coolest sauna I've ever seen.

5) Blackhawk. My favorite gambling town. Hard to beat for a wholesome mountain gambling experience.

6) Hanging Lake. Trail is too popular, but ridiculously beautiful.

7) Rocky Mountain Roller Hockey. Where the magic happens.
