Yeah, had a fun weekend there.

My extensive research has concluded that: Jim's has the BEST Cheesesteak.

I highly recommend it.
 
Ok. Well I'm adding Luke Bryan as you may have seen. Tonight. I am going by myself. Dear FW got me a ticket after they sold out in minutes and I got shut out.

This is one of those things that sound really fun to do at the time, but as time goes on, you dread having that obligation. But it was an amazing thought and gift, and he is right in saying I need to get out. I know I will have fun..it's just pushing myself out the door.

Also, the going alone thing. I have never gone to a concert alone. I am wondering if I will feel like a loser. I am wondering if I will feel compelled to get hammered to lose the loser feeling.



Any of you ever go to a concert by yourself with assigned seating? The last 5-10 shows I have seen were at Caesars LV, a completely different atmosphere. For those I dressed up..and I was with friends.

I think I will wear jeans and a t-shirt tonight...and tennis shoes...--->>>>screams middle aged loser.

Any and all advice would be appreciated. I don't know how to do this without "my girls."
 
I went to a couple concerts alone. I'm cool with doing things alone. Probably would rather see a band at a bar these days though. Not a fan of hype and big hoopla. But if someone underrated I particularly liked came to town, I'd go see em.

It was ok. I thought it started at 7, and it wasn't til 7:30 and LB didn't go on til at least 9:30...I guess there were some technical difficulties....so I was pretty irritable at that point...my phone went dead before he started, but I did get some footage of Randy Houser who was better than LB imo. It would have been much more fun had I not been by myself, but I still enjoyed it. It's a nice venue. Kenny Chesney, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Motley Crue, Shania Twain, and a few others are on the schedule, so might try to see another show soon.

I did end up dressing up a bit...felt good to have something on besides sweats/pjs/jeans for once.
 
just bought 2 tix to Imagine Dragons for the gf daughter bday next month...

tix went on sale in Feb and the show is in July...there were a Ton left... im going to go out on a limb and assume their few songs on the radio are the only ones worth a shit
 
Never went to a concert alone but when I was leaving my buddies house at about 730? In the morning on Saturday I decided I was still thirsty and I went to the bar alone. From what I remember I made friends quickly. I don't remember what time I got home. But I didn't get up till 10pm Saturday night. I was fn hammered.

Btw...I can beerbong 2 beers at one time...I didn't know that.
