Who have you seen? I bet some of you have some crazy numbers/lists. I am not much of a concert person, but have seen a few. There may be a couple more, but there may not be. Saw a lot of small shows in college at local bars i.e. ..Circle Jerks, Mojo Nixon, but won't rack my brain for those.

Violent Femmes- Sioux Falls circa 1985
Bob Dylan....Fargo
Paul Simon...Denver
R.E.M...Denver/Fiddler's Green
Rolling Stones (Voodoo Lounge Tour) Denver..Mile High Stadium
Counting Crows/Wallflowers -Red Rocks
80s reunion thingie. w/ Missing Persons, Devo, English Beat. Damn did that make me feel old. ..Fiddler's Green
Sheryl Crow ..Sioux Falls jazz festival in the park

Saw the following for "free" at the Coliseum at CP.

Carole King ..awesome
Tim McGraw...awesome
Elton John ...Probably was good but too drunk to appreciate...and it was the opening night. There's a story there for a later date. A really good story.
Celine Dion...not a fan but better than expected. She is very tiny.
Garth Brooks...benefit deal...long and slow..not a big fan anyway.
Gloria Estevan...fun...VIP after party at the CP pool afterwards. She was very friendly with pics and such.

We just got a big new events center here and will be drawing bigger names. I would be more likely to go here than in Denver I think...but usually lazy and would rather just turn on a CD and listen at home. I may never go to another concert again.

I'd say between 30 and 40 "pro" concerts, most of them in my late teens/early 20's.

Prolly hundreds of amateur local bands while I was "touring" with my crappy post-grunge band.

Sonic Youth in 2000 was a standout (@ Metropolis in Montreal)

As was the Die Antwoord weekend with the X'es, Blitty, fiveteamer and tacomax (we saw them in Detroit on Saturday then Toronto on Sunday)

Maybe 70 ??? But that was almost all early 20's or younger.

I actually had a bit of a revival and went to 3 shows a couple years ago - Steely Dan, Muse and Cracker - but that was breaking a dry spell of decades. Unless you count musicals.

Rush alone, I probably saw 10 times. Not proud of it but it happened.

Less than a dozen. Overall underwhelmed. More enjoyment watching an unknown band at a bar.

And I have seen my favorite bands pink Floyd 87, full Sabbath line up in 2000, scorpions.
Sabbath was the best. Did not expect them to sound that much better together than Ozzies solo concerts.

Funny thing is it was ozzfest and mmanson was performing before Sabbath. And a lot of the young punks left before Sabbath played. Ha ha. Stupid fucks
