For first round games anyways where you have the market to lean on...

Do you advance all favorites? What if a 12 seed is a 2 point dog, etc ?

Just curious.

Yes Herman, Richmond could be a surprise play?

yeah BYU to the final 4 will be a very popular choice.

they are in the easiest bracket by far in my opinion.

I could see both the #1 and #2 seeds losing in the 2nd round there

I'm a little perplexed here Arch? I thought you stated earlier on the forum that Jamie Dixon was one of the best coaches in the country?

If Pitt doesn't make it to the Final Four with this squad I will be once again perplexed! No doubt it won't have anything to do with the game day coaching decisions!

For the record I would like to see Pitt finally make the run deep in the tourney!

Dixon is a great coach, but he doesn't have the horses

I think we have a semantical and operational definition problem Monkey.

in my book there are Winning Coaches that might not be good actual coaches..... and there are good and great coaches that might not actually Win that much.....

Dixon is a great coach, maybe the best young coach in high level power conference D1.

there are many factors that go into winning beyond coaching. things such as Team history/profile, recruiting ability, location to big city recruits, university academic/moral standards, alum $, money investment in infrastructure from the University.

IMO Dixon does more with less and competes at a very high level. Over the Past Decade Pitt is #1 or #2 as an overall program in the Big East. But if you look at recruiting Pitt is like 5th or 6th at best. I can count the number of mcdonald's all americans Pitt has landed on one-hand prob every since they started having "mcdonald's all americans.

Dixon, has had a Big East "most improved player" 4 out of his 8 coaching season. I think that speaks volume about his committment to development

I just did one using Vegas lines for 1st round, then KenPom + Sagarin the rest of the way and it's all chalk.

Washington as a 7 is the only team in the Sweet 16, the rest are 1-4 seeds. Then some 1-3 matchups in the Elite 8 with all 1's in the Final Four.

It feels like a Samsncharge bracket, but is this the best chance at winning it all? Seems stupid to start guessing upsets, because if you pick the wrong ones you're done.

depends on what winning it all means? how big of a group are you playing in? and what is the scoring format?
