How do I get AVG off my nuts?

So annoying this cunt. Everytime I google search I end up with an AVG search.

I appreciate everything AVG does for me (for free too...the whore).


But I want to go back to google searches resulting in GOOGLE finds.


Anyone?

What browser are you using?

Are you just typing search in address bar or using a search bar?

if its overriding the google page or something, you are better off deleting the avg you have now and dl the new 2012 avg and making sure that you un-check the boxes for extra shit (toolbar,homepage etc) when it asks you about it during the download...

Mozilla. It never did this before.

I use Firefox and Google used to be my homepage. Now I have the firefox logo up top. Maybe if I reset google as my home...

Alright, I reset google as my home and it is set and consistent.

AVG is a bit pervasive though...

OK I won't talk shit about a free service but still...

I don't understand how changing your home page would fix your computer taking over your searches but I am glad that it worked for you.

I would dump AVG and just get Security Essentials from Microsoft
