iga, there should be a pvc pipe connection to the ac somewhere close ... i have one that gets clogged from time to time... find that pvc pipipe that looks like its running to the outside... dump a half gallon or so of bleach in there and hopefully that will unclog the pipe... i have to do this once or twice a year :dunno:

im uploading pics for you now

upstairs ac unit and pvc opening where i pour the bleach...

the U-joint that gets stopped up.... now, i know the clown that built the house did some fucked up things..this is one of them, but if you have one of these, its most likely where the problem is... mine comes apart pretty easy for unclogging too

Damn. Thanks Ray...but looking at those is like reading Greek to me. I don't know what a pvc pipe is or a U joint...

How did you post these pictures? I can try to post my set up...looks similar to yours I think...well there are pipes anyway.

I guess I am confused where you pour the bleach. In different places?

Fuck it, if the air filter doesn't do it, I'm calling someone in. I would probably screw something up.

I am woman hear me roar etc etc...but fuck this...this is a man's job.

in the 1st pic, the skinny pvc pipe pulls out of the thicker/bigger one thats on the wall... then i pour bleach down the thick pipe on the wall...

i took pics, used the photobucket app to upload to photobucket, then just copied the url and posted like normal pic

rj, one is for upstairs , one for downstairs

Ok. I get it. I will get some bleach tomorrow or see if Lori has some here. Right now I need to chill out as this mess is about to cause me a nervous breakdown. Water leaking more than I thought. Having to lift up carpet and put fans out.

Why does my shit always break on the weekends?

Thanks all esp RR for the pics.

Thought I had everything under control with the new air filter, but now when I run the a/c there is a pipe that has water coming out of it leaking onto the floor. I called the HVAC people who did some other routine maintenance things, and then told me I needed a sewer/drain/roto rooter type. So now I have HIM here.

I think this is the same kind of pipe setup where you pour the bleach RR. I guess I could have tried that first, but I'm over the headache of this crap.
