This kind of play is perhaps indicative of the positive direction the nhl can go now. Very tough, physical play but still enough puck control and chances to have some flow. This was the best series imo since the Edmonton/Carolina final playoff year.
The key is like those teams, LA and Chicago were able to make and control accurate outlet passes which enabled them to enter the zone with speed. The foking standing people up at the blue line might be whats mucking up the game more than anything. And in this series even though there was constant even extreme physical play it did not kill the flow. to both teams, particularly the coaches.
Carter pissed me off some in Philly but I'm so proud of him. He's become quite the scorer. Richie is fading but dude, it's Richie. Jwill to the dizzle fo real on the shizzle. Sick grinder. There's some other guys on that team too but they're pretty inconsequential. They just went into Chitown for game 7 and did THAT. It's pretty much already over.
