Man I don't know.

I gotta say, I am fascinated with the Maple Leafs. Not in terms of expecting any winning in the near future - obviously - but it is interesting to see this painful long-term plan being attempted and hammered away at with such discipline. I like all the guys behind it. Babcock, Lamoriello, Shanahan.

I could actually see myself being a semi-fan 4 or 5 years down the line if it actually comes together.

They are actually losing right. They have a very real possibility of finishing last overall - but you can't really accuse them of tanking. Not totally.

However I stand by my earlier statement - for now - that if they add a 2nd team in the Toronto area, that will be my team.

I hear that a John Scott movie is being planned and best-selling author Mitch Albom has signed on for the screenplay.

It was a darling little story when it happened but I don't feel like there is quite enough meat on those bones.

Good to know. But then the other question - which you brought up - is do you want a guy fresh from injury with who knows how much rust - in there?

The good news is there are a few games before you get to the single game eliminations so I guess you have a bit of evaluation time.

I'm not even sure of the format. It might be that all the teams make it to the playoffs and the round robin is simply about positioning. So you don't have to get too uppity about those games and you can try things out.

But I'm not sure of that.

Vintage Flyers. Big fight during recent stretch some nice wins then how would you like you have been a philly fan there for a 4-0 home ice spanking to the piece of shit oilers last night.

Fail.

The Oilers are actually a decent team that needs just a couple/few tweaks. McDavid is an incredibly talented player. Another Crosby who makes players around him better players.
