I've noticed a change in online temperament with a few posters, including myself, over the last 11 months. There are a lot of aggressive and brutally honest people posting here who say things without really thinking about the human being at the other end. I'm sure that it's the same at most message boards but this is the worst I've seen, particularly because the community is so small. I know that it isn't our responsibility to e-coddle others, but I personally don't feel good about myself after I've hurt someones feelings. Especially if they haven't done anything to me. Take wally, for example. I was very mean to him for a while and I hate that. By nature, I am a sarcastic person, but I'm not a deliberately vindictive person. I have privately apologized to wally, but that doesn't mean that I still won't laugh at his spelling, although it has been greatly improved.

Oh, and about Mrs. X's leaf? I'm talking about the leaf from a few months back. Is she a leaf turner over abuser?

I think a lot of people take this shit far too seriously. I'm usually laughing when I post.

A lot of people have difficulty grasping sarcasm online. They then become defensive and unintentionally create a problem where a problem shouldn't have existed. But MF, if you are really laughing while posting that someone is stupid, etc., you have one sick sense of humor, son!

I think it all started way back when Wally made a jerk comment about my voice on one of Bread's videos. Something about being disappointed because I sounded like an airhead or something (paraphrasing here).

LOL. I do. It keeps me sane IRL though. I like to play with people online. Half of the things I say are just to get a rise out of people. I think part of it just comes down to my overall curiosity of human emotion. I expect to elicit certain responses from people. I think I tinker with the anger emotion online because I'm generally pretty non-confrontational in person. But I find it oddly satisfying at times to see the tension and frustrations mount.

From what I have witnessed over the last few years, you certainly know how to push buttons. You've been able to push mine a few times (and i HATE that). I do not like allowing people to push my buttons. Ask Bread...I never yell. I am not the type to pick a fight, nag or remain moody longer than the 15 minutes it takes for me to wake up in the morning. So bravo, MF...you've successfully been able to do what many have not. Jerk.

Wally has been doing SO much better. His has calmed his long-winded posting storm and after threatening to headbutt Matty, he hasn't been quite so defensive. And he makes videos now, too!
