Swinger, don't challenge Durito, everybody wants to challenge Durito, let the guy have a little peace.

I challenged Durito cause I didn't understand Durito and I was pissed off at the time. Sure I could have just broke another keyboard but I chose to make it personal. I still have a chance to win my challenege with Durito but I ultimately will still lose in the end. While I have learned a good deal over the course of this challenge I'm not sure it will be worth it.

Plus I kind of like Durito more than I ever realized when this whole thing began.
 
Hi Greg! You're a definite asset to this humble little forum (ok, it's not so humble). I have written a fictional novel based loosely on some of my own experiences that is also a screenplay. If I had my druthers, it would be a published book first and then adapted to the screen. I have a great deal of enthusiasm in terms of writing but to actually reach out to literary agents is time consuming and tedious. It's primarily a case of who do you know in the industry. JK ROwlings who wrote Harry Potter had over 100 rejections before anyone would deign to read even a chapter. Therefore, it's a process to say the least. Self-publishing is essentially a masturbatory excercise in self-aggrandizement.

I am a freelance writer and write on sports, politics and humor. I have also done voice work via adiocasts and look forward to doing them again in the future. Thank you for your interest and yes, Secretariat was the greatest horse ever to grace the track.

I saw swinging johnson over at peeps place, whats your[his] opinion of that place, I love seeing buffetgambler over there. Have you been there long and whats your opinions of the personalities over there, raiders,paddy,peep,etc. ? seems like its a sort of gossip sheet for forums but it does have some good threads.

Joe seriously, what the hell are you going to do when you can't come back to Gamelive? You know you're not allowed to hang around playgrounds and if your mother thinks you're not actually "working" on the computer, well she may just make you get a 9 to 5. There's only a downside for you here Joey.

Peeps can be entertaining because there are no rules. Pretty much anything goes. Reagan who runs the place is a legitimate sharpie handicapping MLB. The problem is that there is so much history, it's difficult to sort out the personalities. Nobody misses a trick over there. A bunch of old time miserable degens by and large but that doesn't mean it's not entertaining. In fact, it's because of that very fact that it is entertaining. It's a wasteland for all the castoffs and outcasts from forum world.

Brunhuber was a legend over there and I truly enjoyed reading him but he departed this mortal plane just a short time ago. His brother Paddy is a good read and so is his mortal enemy, Rogue Scholar. I enjoy reading Rogue as he is articulate and thought provoking but devoid of humor which is not a slight but rather a fact. I normally enjoy clever posters who give me a chuckle but RS doesn't need that added dimension to make me read his posts. Trailer Park Boys is a clever guy, Sl 55 is fun to banter with, Cwissy the schizoid cat is a trip and a few others I enjoy. But most are looking for blood in one form or another.

Interesting. I didn't know that paddy was brunhubers brother, those guys sure hate bodog. I figured it was some sort of Canadian business dealings with ayre or something.

did they ever get that peeps place tv up and running?

what is up with raiders, does he have an official capacity there, like a mod or some position ?

Raiders is rather enigmatic to me. He appears to be a stickler for detail and is an expert researcher but there are many who despise him. I'm not exactly sure what the issue is but he does revel in the forum wars. I don't know enough about him to give you an accurate opinion.
