Help - RIP Stevie and Nicky? Was I too controlling?

Well GL after all your help it looks like Nicky and I are going to call it quits.

I am headed up there tonight to get my things from her place and then we will move on.

If my actions were incorrect but I want your take on it because you were such a huge part of us hooking up in the first place.

It all came down to this. Her ex, whom I am into going to critisize too deeply here but let's just say he stole rent $, items and everything else on her way out.

Anyway, I gave her a phone in my name and yes I kept an eye on things. He started out from calling her a whore and everything else to telling her to tell me he was eveil spirit BLAPHOMET and that he would destroy me if he wanted to and that he "had a crew and was calling them off me". Whacko.

I responded by telling him that the phone was in my name the whole time and that if I wanted to I would file harrassment charges against him, then he stopped.

But then he got in Nookie's mother's ear and says that makes me a control freak and they are buying it and I'm on my way out.

Don't worry about :stevie: I say if it's not meant to be well then it isn't but shit I really love this girl and would love to fix it if there is any fixing.

Be honest, and shoot from the hip here. I want to hear it.

Point taken and self evaluation needs to be done about that and this thread will be given to Nookie to read and respond to as well. That's all I'll say about the strong parent influence for now, but I hear you Monkey, I definitely do.

I will say I tried to befriend her mother who I think is ligitimatally cool except for making a consious decision to believe this piece of garbage thief over me I told her nothing but truth.
 
If you really love this girl, why aren't you going to fight for her?

Her ex is talking shit to her parents, her parents are buying it, she's siding with her parents, and you just say "oh well, you win some you lose some"?

No I spoke with her more than once about him. The infidelity. The stealing. The mental abuse.

She always goes back to "yes a lot was bad but not all of it" and accepts him anyway.

They want me to accept him as a friend of hers. Tough sell.
 
She's beiong real cool about the stuff and I will go back tonioght and get it.

She even at my request packed most of it up since for me it's 5 hours of driving tonight/in the AM.

So that's good and if she really needs to consider going back to this guy's awfulness then may whatever force he prays to bless them.

Because I was like a bottle deep and went on some kind of splurge about my Ex.

Guess we both just weren't ready.

Which is cool ,fate will exact its course whatever its meant to be.

I mean if I pulled off TB in a survivor pool some mojo has got to be comin my way ;)
