Fiver, Pavy agrees with this but just wishes he could discuss things over here with somebody. Fiver, I thought you bet soccer? Maybe your like Bread, he bets it but has no clue.

You are right Mr Monkey. I can see the plays posted in the soccer forum. But no one really discusses the games. I don't need to see picks. I would like to discuss with posters on why a team will win or not or even casually talk about leagues, games etc.

Pavy, I would be willing to pick up some knowledge about soccer. I am limited at RebateWager as to how I can bet the games and which games are available but I still wouldn't mind adding it to what I do. I would probably try to work it in now but a numerical rating system and stat data on mainstream sites is very minimal. I haven't looked into various other information sites that are out there.

Pavy, I have attempted till I am blue in the face to get these guys to get at least a little more into sports stuff but they simply won't do it. RJ is money in the bank till Bread abuses him in GLPOD stuff. I have a sneaky feeling that Bread is really much better than he let's on too. Why he has chosen to do the whole JJ Gold Life's Loser role when it comes to posting I don't know. I don't think anyone could lose as much as Bread post losing and still have anything left to wager with. Bread may not be as many ghost as I accuse him of being but I am certain he's a much better gambler than his post suggest.

Wally,

I appreciate your daily threads trying to encourage some kind of sports talk from basketball to hockey and football. It's OK to have casual threads to break the monotony of sports talking. But what I see here is the opposite. We start sport talking threads to break the monotony of non-sports related threads.
