Have you ever killed an animal?

I live in Canada, if you haven't contributed to the road kill you've not been driving long enough.... have hit coons, skunks, deer. Have shot ducks. And if you haven't gone fishing and then pan fried it you don't know what your missing.
 
I have killed animals. Probably a hell of a lot less than your average 47 year old in my situation but some. I can only remember ever hitting one animal in a car - a squirrel. Even though my dad and brother are fairly avid fisherman - and I got roped into some fishing in my younger years - I never liked it and stopped doing it a long time ago.

I did some evil stuff to animals as a ratbag kid. I don't like to think about it. I may not open this thread again.
 
Having said that, I am a highly carnivorous specimen. I love meat. So although, like most people in our society, I have someone else do my killing for me, my hands are not really clean and I have to claim responsibility for killing a lot of animals.
 
the BEST/WORST one was along Highway 9 between Orangeville and Newmarket. I was sailing along in the G/F's car when a dalmatian ran out in front of me. I hit hmme at 80 mph. Had the skull imprinted into her car. The thud was horrific. Stupid dog.
 
Totaled a deer toyota to a deer. Sucked because I wasn't even driving the deer that fast but I was looking at my laptop then looked up and there were 4 toyotas running across the street.

The insurance company paid me a lot for the deer though.
 
I used to kill snakes when I was a kid. Only poisonous ones that lived close to the house. My brother is 9.5 years younger than me and I didn't want those fuckers biting him when he was out crawling around in the yard. I hit a decent sized possum with my car about 2 years ago. Pretty sure he didn't make it. I could hear the bones cracking.

Yes. I also hit the nose off a moose one night on my way to the casino and it exploded all over my windshield. Bloody moose whistles for your car are a waste of money.
