I think is Columbus weekend here today. Kids didn't have to go to school this morning. Was able to sleep an extra 15 minutes!

Yes it is Columbus day, most of the banks are closed, it is also the 14th day of the government shutdown, and doesn't look like there is much hope of reaching a resolution soon, although the treasury plans on borrowing another 30 mil or is bil? to cover their bonds and shit. Way to go, more debt.

Yessir, turkey on Sunday and then leftovers yesterday. Went home with home-baked cookies, waffles and Rice Krispies squares. We thankful, happy and fat.
