I've been doing Altra wide toe box zero drop shoe for years for running and walking around out of home. at home I do barefoot as much as possible. only just tried on some xero shoes at REI after a buddy kept raving about them

I don't think the gains from reducing our synthetic casting of the toes and foot is as dramatic as most claim. but I'm going for the long term benefits so that 85 year old archie can be very active, balanced and not need a cane or walker

Never heard of Altra but just went to the site and they have some great looking sneakers.

Tell us if you like the Xero better than the Altra
