Guys, do you use "product" in your hair?

After never using product in my hair my whole life, I have started in the last couple days. I'm not talking about shampoo. Of course I have been using shampoo. I'm talking about gel/pomade/mousse/I-don't-know-wtf-all-kinds-there-are.

Anyway, at the urging of my honeybun, I got a (fruity?) new haircut which requires some gel to maintain.

Ehh I'm probably exaggerating - it's not that fruity I don't think. It's very short. It is buzzed around the bottom with some spiky/bed-head action on top. That's where the gel comes in.

Anyhooooo . . . .

My first question is, do you use hair product? My gf, in trying to apply the pressure, made the statement that she has never known any guy who doesn't use some kind of product.

I said, "Really? I don't think I know any guy that does use product." But on further thought I have no idea what my guy buddies do with their hair.



So I'm curious about that.

I may have a follow-up question.

very very rarely, usually only to try to mitigate the effects of a bad haircut

one key tip is you will likely start out using more than you need, and then you just have a sticky pathetic mess that makes you look completely wack and lame, like a total loser

the key, if you are going for a cool hip natural look, is to use very small amounts

and of course, the less hair you have, the smaller margin for error you have
