After a lot of whispers in the media and around the internet over the past weekend Greg Oden finally faced the press, stepped up to the plate and apologized for the state of his knees. After being drafted as the 1st overall pick in the 2007 Draft, Oden was felt to be the key to revitalizing the fortunes of the Portland franchise after fans jumped ship from what was named The Jail Blazers during the mid 2000s. However, Oden missed the entire 2007/8 season after surgery on his right knee, missed a number of games in 2008/9 with a left knee injury and is now out for the 2009/2010 season with a further left knee injury. Mounting pressure finally forced Oden to speak to the press at Portland’s training facility yesterday to apologize for having worse knees than a old woman with Osteoporosis.
"First I would like to apologize to everybody in Portland, the fans, the organization…I'm very sorry and I'm definitely embarrassed for my family.” said Oden in his opening remarks. As he left the press conference, it is alleged that Oden handed out a few autographed cock pics to members of the press. Could he be thinking about a porn career during his downtime?
