My friend Bert - who is my music guru - has seen Dave Matthews probably as many times as my brother saw the dead.

Bert has made a lot of CD's for me and once in awhile he will lob in a random mix. Very often, those will contain some Dave Matthews.

I feel about the same about Dave Matthews as the Grateful Dead.

That's not a linear comparison. I was no more social when I was getting high.

I have known many addicts who are social types who got clean and find their social life better.

And I know many people who aren't addicts who don't automatically get high to do social things - because they prefer it that way.
