I watch NFL. I did research and made picks this season and Bread beat me by a very small margin. I don't much care for baseball. I love hockey but haven't watched it since I moved down here to Florida. It's not a very popular sport down here, you see.

Exactly

I find basketball as boring as they come but I bet on it. I bet on football and love watching it whether or not I have a wager on it. I love lacrosse yet can't find a place to bet on it. Taking the kids in 2 weeks to see the Toronto Rock play should be a blast.

Excellent point. But you see, I am a complete novice. If I am going to bet on something, I personally need to know about the sport. And with me, knowing about the sport means I have to watch the sport to learn.

I do not have skills like some of you guys. That whole Ganch gambling math tool thing you all use...way over my head. So I'll just stick to betting on things I watch.
