Hey hey! I'm going to Toronto this Sat. afternoon - Wed. morning. I'm visiting a friend, but will have Sat, and all day Sun to explore the city by myself, and Mon and Tues my friend and I will be looking for fun things to do.

Any suggestions from those who live around there, or from those who have been there?

I hear there's a great China Town (though, coming from NYC, I see china town all the time), and that there's a great museum that I can't recall the name of... Also I hear Ossing Avenue (or whatever) is a hip bar area. I mainly travel to drink, eat and shop(in that order), so suggestions toward that would be great. Also interested in arts, a little sight-seeing, and whatever else is cool.

Thanks guys and gals.

I think Fiveteamer would be fun to do - he has a friend named Matty that may be gay but has a nice kok.

Plommer is a born/raised Torontonian.

"Ossing" is actually "Ossington".

There is lots to do in Toronto, find a visitor information kiosk and they will tell you whatever you need to know.

This site may also be of some help.

You could also take a trip down to Niagara Falls, its about 90 minutes down the highway.

Thank you! Great ideas! Any bar suggestions? or places to eat?

There's different kinds of hip in Toronto. Queen St W is artsy and slightly pretentious, Bloor St W is the hipster area, while Ossington is more of an up-and-coming area that's a little out of the way when you're doing the tourist thing in the downtown core.

Brass Rail, Blitty. Classy establishment for sure.
