In 2011, Ahmed was the subject of a viral video, which appeared to show him flamboyantly entering the ring, only to be knocked out by his opponent in the first round. Prior to the fight the video shows Ahmed squaring right up to the face of Ashley Sexton; it is Sexton who then knocks out Ahmed in the first round. [9] The video was revealed to be doctored, featuring Ahmed entering the ring in a 2009 match, and Ahmed suffering a 1 minute first-round knock-out in a 2010 match.[10] One version of the video currently holds over 7.5 million views.[11]
