Gamelive MLB Contest

Maybe iifold was right in leaving with his ball? Maybe you either have to go by the book rule in all cases or have some other rules set in place! Common sense says when 13 runs is scored in 7 innings and the game is a legit final and you have U8.5 than it's a loss for FRIENDLY contest rules! OMO but I would grade myself a loss! :eyes:

durito please make a ruling on it (yesterday's 7 inning game between A's/Bos)

I assumed that no book ever, anywhere would honor a wager on a total that went 7 innings

To be more specific for Detective Mr Monkey, had I been on the over in that 7 inning game I would not have an expectation for the wager to be graded as a Win.

I just assumed we were going by 5 dimes rules? I graded a moneyline as loss and runline as push in the boston game?

*When betting on baseball totals or run-lines, the game must go 9 innings (8 if the home team is winning).

First 5 inning lines are graded at the end of the 5th inning. All 5 inning wagers have action at that time, regardless whether the game is completed. The following propositions have action at the time they occur, regardless whether the game is completed or official: 1st 5 inning wagers, team to score first, 1st inning wagers or any wager involving a team or player to achieve an outcome first.

The following propositions will be graded NO ACTION if a game does not go 8-9 innings and is an official completed game on that day: team statistical match-ups, player match-ups (including total bases), team total runs, H-R-E wagers, or any wager involving an over/under format.

I think we must go by book rules. It sucks if you have the over, but it's a consistent rule. I play a lot of TT's and that's just part of the game.

Dafty, I understand the book rules but just ironic that you took a win for that game that was completed the next day that unless I was mistaken the book graded as a push? Rito said that rule was stupid!

I got on iifold bout saying that your play should be counted as a win but I guess I have to give him his due for thinking all plays should be graded by book rules with no exceptions! LOL, I'm not in the contest, I'm only doing my job as GL internal affairs person to make sure everything is on the up and up!

Remember this kind of behavior! Don't want it spreading outside of Kendall!

An entire Miami-Dade Police squad in Kendall has been disciplined -- several of the officers, fired -- after what CBS Miami reports is one of the worst dereliction of duty cases in the department's history.

One officer, Dario Socarras, was filmed drinking coffee for nine minutes while allegedly ignoring emergency dispatch orders on a call for an unconscious 5-month-old baby, Local10 reports.

His supervisor, Sgt. Jennifer Gonzalez, was sitting at the cafe with Socarras -- and was also recorded shopping while on duty at stores like Target and Lowes, brushing off work to rendezvous with her boyfriend, and visiting her parents in Cutler Ridge when she should have been on the job, according to CBS.

Socarras was also filmed twice kissing and spending time with a girlfriend in the parking lot of the Dadeland mall, allegedly while ignoring calls for armed robbery and burglary -- forcing officers from other units to respond from greater distances.

The squad was surveilled by Internal Affairs investigators, who used video cameras and GPS vehicle trackers to document what members were doing while they should have been responding to calls.

"We're talking about falsification of records, we're talking about stealing time that doesn't belong to you, because they are supposed to be available for service or duty and they're not,” said former Miami Police Chief Ken Harms.

Altogether, five officers and Sgt. Gonzalez were allegedly caught ignoring dispatch calls, according to media reports. NBC6 confirms Socarras, Gonzalez, and Officer Jose Huerta have been fired, according to MDPD internal affairs documents, and others have been disciplined.

Dafty wins again!

I guess I just noticed your partner graded it as a loss! I get it now, a classic good cop, bad cop scenario! Good job!
