There was another girl, one of Nathan's friends that ended up sleeping on the floor. She snored too. It was the exact opposite timing of Taco and coming from a different point in the room. Maddening. Snore from the couch. Meep from the floor.

The two girls from Ohio were sleeping on the couch next to me. I can't remember their real names, we started calling them by their burner names, Pepper and Lunchbox, and it stuck in my head. A few times during the night Pepper and I sat up at almost the exact time, sighed, looked at each other, knew we couldn't do anything and flopped back down.

Taco, don't worry, it just made you more endearing and legendary. Now if you would just quit with that fake accent.

Too funny.

From L to R top row: Matt Rain, Blitty, Nathan (CS host), Lunchbox (dark hair), Mrs. X, Mr. X. L to R bottom row: Megan (Nathan's friend from Ann Arbor....not the snorer) Pepper.

The same faggot that nearly punched and spasticly kicked me in the face when I was trying to lift up his head and put a pillow under it so maybe he would stop snoring. He woke up and said "wha's goin on?". I told him what was happening. He said "Alright then. High five". Then we high fived.

Every time you tell a story, you make me laugh. I can completely picture this happening. *high five*

p.s. you have no idea how badly I wanted to post the taco purse/bag picture

That couchsurfing thing seems pretty cool. Have you guys ever hosted or stayed with someone that you didn't get along with?

It's not uncommon to host or stay with someone that you don't really click with, especially if you're not being very picky in terms of checking out the profiles and having some email correspondence. It's pretty rare to actively dislike someone, the people are overwhelmingly generous and cool.

Early on, when we were less experienced with the warning signs, we hosted a couple of German guys that were rude, erased all the bookmarks on my computer, and left with our key and never returned it. That was about as bad as it ever got. On the other side, we've got a few close friends, and an enormous collection of good friends all over the place.

He has no memory of talking to or high fiving me. At first I was trying to be really gentle and not startle him, but nothing could wake him. Finally, I actually grabbed a handful of hair to lift his head up and then shove the pillow under.

Very cool.

Oh wow.

Even though I don't remember that, I feel that we really connected at that point in time. MrsX, we officially bonded.
