Unless I'm missing something, that was beyond a bad call. Was there something he could have possibly seen? I saw two US players practically in headlocks and the a third scoring the goal.

What was the call, anyway?

The European and S. American referees I would surmise have the most experience but the WC always seems to have to let officials from all around the world do games. Mistakes will happen I guess!
