I was flipping the channels the other day and suddenly I was looking at the pre-game of an MLS game, Vancouver Whitecaps vs Montreal Impact.

That felt like a step down. Who is watching that?

Having a tough time picturing a lot of upsets in the round of 16, but of course there will be one or two. Most likely upsets for me (apart from Nigeria) would be Chile or US.

Netherlands huh. I could get behind them but I'm still annoyed about all the speed skating stuff at the winter Olympics. Too many medals for the same sport.

They gave them like 19 medals for speed skating.

Canada was the best at hockey and we got 2 medals out of it.

Brazil hasnt lost to Chile in more than a decade, and has never lost to it on home soil. But for the first time Chile arrives to face its neighbor with plenty of confidence, thanks in part to a convincing campaign in Group B that included a victory over defending champion Spain.
The Chileans say there is no reason they cant also surprise the hosts, and Brazilians admit they are wary of the threat.
