Quick Summary: Fantastic race but also shows just how badly the new rules are going to play out. The rain just beforehand made this race, once the track was dry we again saw the problems. Button won this race after doing 51 laps on a set of SOFT tyres, that cannot be a good thing. Hamilton and Webber caught the Ferraris at an average of 1.9 seconds per lap after pitting for tyres, after that we again saw just how badly wake turbulence affects a following car. If a car which is 2 seconds faster cannot overtake a car in front, nobody will ever try that type of strategy again.

Red Bull look like they will maintain there qualifying advantage until at least the 4th race (China) when McLaren and Mercedes indicate they will have a ratchet system to control the maximum ride height similar to the one they believe Red Bull are currently running with. Webber's car was bottoming out in qualifying so they surely do have something that achieves this.

Malaysia next week, hoping for pre-race rain again albeit at Sepang, it would not be a light shower.
