I wanted to check on something to make sure I had actually sent it out yesterday so I opened my sent file on the email account. I rarely if ever open this because I don't generally need to know if I actually sent something.

Anyway I found the email I was looking for. Now that email should have been the second to last email sent as I had just sent a new one. Not the case though, in between the previous email I sent and the latest email I had just sent was about 15 emails that were sent out. I didn't send any of these emails, what's more I have no idea who any of the people they were sent to are.

I don't open emails from anyone unless they are someone I know. I don't open any spam and have my spam filters on high in my settings. Even if it had been sent through a trusted email I haven't opened an email from anyone in over a week. How could this happen?
 
FUCK!!!!!!!

That's 5 times this year. I just got it fixed 3 weeks ago too.
I think I got it through SBR. Right after I downloaded the SBR Poker I started getting these weird pop-ups all the time and funky things started happening. I PM'ed their support team or whatever but got no response. Other people are having issues as well but of a different nature.
 
Some malware is nearly impossible to completely wipe out. Best thing to do is to reformat and start clean. Pain in the ass but it's probably quicker than trying to identify and neutralize the fokken malware.
 
I’ve had the infected computer off since last night but these emails are continuously being sent.

Is it now in my email account itself?

Will I have to lose that account?

I recieve emails on that one account to my Blackberry, can it catch the virus too?

If I log into that account from one of my other computers in order to copy my contact list or check my emails will I then infect my other computers?

Sad sad day. Wal66 and lilwal66 at hotmail and live are no more. They were good email sould but have been wiped out by a nasty malware virus. From sorrow comes potential though as a new email version has been born. Never used gmail before but unclewal66 will try to carry on the tradition of the others.
 
mcbaseball, I had the same thing happen to me over the past 2 weeks at hotmail. spammed my contacts list and deleted my sent messages from the past year. I went on the windows live forums and they told me they couldn't help me. I made a strong password though and it hasn't happened since (it happened three times but not since a few days ago).
