Durito and you other pro types - have you ever tried to play with Centrebet?

I like Sportingbet too but mainly for tennis again although they often offer player props for the NBA which I've made some money on. Lately they've been all about taking the two star players in each game and hanging a line as to who will score more or in some cases they throw rebounds in there too.

Even when I leave here I'm definitely keeping my bank account open. Hearing so many horror stories about people chasing payouts makes me feel lucky to have the option to play with these guys.

Roguey, I'm a nothing specialist. I don't know what I'm doing most of the time. :lmao:

I like these props here though because they seem a bit silly. Obviously someone's making the line and they're much smarter than me but some of the lines they're putting up are so ridiculous even a person with only a decent grasp of the NBA could make out ok. I should probably look at it much more but I don't even know where to start. Maybe I'll order Justin's book or go back to studying in the ThinkTank.

Yes, he's Canadian therefore free to gamble with Aussie bookmakers. :plomsmartyresponse:

But for real he plays with SportsAlive and Centrebet. I keep recommending to him Sportsbet.com.au

Juror I have accounts with almost every Aussie sportsbook, my favourite is still Centrebet.

I like Sportsbet.com.au but they don't offer US Dollar accounts like the other big Aussie bookies and the fees/spread for converting Canadian to US to Australian Dollars are fees I try to avoid.

Plommer, has Centrebet ever limited you? I really think they screwed up with both of mine and have me confused with someone else but every time I've tried to speak with them they just blow me off.

The good thing though is that it's taught me to be sneaky with other sports. Now if I've placed a bet somewhere else and it's looking good throughout the match, I'll live bet the losing side at Centrebet for a bit less.

Common sense for you guys but it took me many years to figure this one out. :lmao:

No, never been limited but I don't make huge bets with them.
My bets are in the $100 - $500 range and I've never had a problem.

One of the many nice things about this book is that they are very liberal with regard to deposit and withdrawal types, for example if I deposit with a credit card they will allow me to withdraw via Moneybookers.

See - that's why I think they've stuffed up with me. I only bet 6 or 7 NCAAF bets this year and my bet on one game was $1400 but every other one was $100 or $200. NBA TTs I was betting every day but even then my bets were still only $200 and a few times I went to $1000 when I was fading the Knicks' defence. Now though I'm down to $88 on NCAAF and $65 on the team totals. Seriously fucked.

There's a guy at the other place who used to work there and he figures it's because with each of my NCAAF I jumped on as soon as they posted lines and they hit - by fluke, mind you - and I was targeting certain teams with the TTs but it still doesn't make sense to me. The dollar amount I'm betting is minute compared to most people and they've let me place bets for $30k+ (most of the money was someone else's) in tennis and those bets have won yet my tennis limits aren't touched. Now I'm just trying to lose there as much as possible for awhile even if I have to pass on better lines by betting elsewhere. Not good.

Are you consistently beating the market with them, Shari? That's typically a reason to limit at any book.

With NCAAF I did, but again by fluke. I just had certain games I'd liked and made a point to jump on as soon as the lines came out because I knew I'd probably forget or be asleep when the game was starting. With the TTs, there really isn't much line movement at Centrebet on them because that book in particular is just bloody slow to do much of anything. Maybe I'll go back though and compare what I had with Pinny closers and see.

At first all of this was hilarious to me but now it's a serious pain in the ass. I'm spending way too much time strategising about how and where to place bets.

Now that I think of it though, do books look at your balance and compare it to your winning % on certain sports? I've parked a lot of money with them even though I don't bet big and have no intention, or the guts, to hammer them on one or two bets. Maybe they think I will? :dunno:
