Lady Gaga's music, in its genre anyway, is great. No shame at all in listening to her stuff.

Listening to Bieber if you are anything but a 10-13 year old girl is EXTREMELY embarrassing. Monumental differences here.

I really don't know, I guess it's something akin to having a substance abuse problem, the first way to get over it is to admit it. And am glad that I was able to admit it here and to myself that I enjoy Bieber's songs.

Bieber and Gaga are the same for me... their talents are enormous. Their songs actually have deep meanings into it, but most of it are buried under catchy tunes. Take Gaga's Alejandro for example, it's actually a song about sexual hang ups and the fear to commit, but it's a dance floor anthem to most. Bieber's Baby is much dumbed down considering the target audience, but it's also about relationships taken for granted.
