Serious question here.

I have never had any friends or family members contract the virus.

Who do you know personally that has this terrible illness? (No names please)

The only person I ever met with HIV/AIDS was an acquaintance of a friend of mine in Windsor ON.

That was in 1995 - he was a gay man and he died a few months after I met him.

Since HIV/AIDS became a problem late in the 1980's I have met a total of 1 person with the virus.

I have banged Cubans, Americans, Canadians, Mexicans, Polish & Russian broads, massage parlour girls, hookers, and non hookers and am still free of the virus.
My sexual activity is limited to vaginal intercourse and oral sex, NO ANAL!

I plan on dying AIDS/HIV free.

I had AIDS from when I used to play on the Lakers. It was a long time ago, we all did what we wanted to pretty much between the sheets, people worried about a lot less then. On November 30th, 2006 I announced that I had AIDS and would be retiring form basketball. Since then I have beaten it, and have become a role model for people who contract this sickness to beat it.

One thing I will only say on Gamelive that I haven't said before is that I was only gay with Rambis. Boy was he somethin without those specs on! I regret nothing and would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Two guys I went to high school with have subsequently died of AIDS. I wasn't good friends with them or anything. I just knew them. One of them lived on my street. As far as I know, they got infected through gay sex.

I don't know if I would say I know anyone with AIDS right now. I have met a few people through my volunteer work in addictions. I recall we were setting up a program of community awareness in Toronto regarding opiates and ~3 of the people I was advising as potential panelists were former intravenous heroin users who had HIV or AIDS. I think I have met a couple other infected individuals in a similar capacity.

But I am not in regular touch with any of them.

As far as I know I have never known or met anyone with the HIV.

Pretty sure no-ones "plans" to get it (although some have done and do things that increase the risk) Plommer so you're probably not alone in planing on dying HIV free.
