Gone nowhere guys. The last 5 days trying to grasp this Implied Probability thing and then having the "what edge" stuff thrown in on top of that plus all the other stuff just burnt a couple more brain cells than I could afford to lose. Took some time off to go play golf.

Tournament yesterday cost $130 to play, went in the Pro Shop to buy a hat (didn't need a hat but always buy a hat) and ended up spending $400 on a range finder, balls, shirt and oh yeah a hat. Played horribly but won a skin that paid $50, woo hoo only out $480.

Get home and am beat but I have to do a play of the day thing so I do a parlay, World Series OVER 7, Orlando Magic )VER 191 and -14, Nashville Predators UNDER 5 and FSU OVER 58. Right after that I log in and the first thread I see is MonkeyFocker on FSU UNDER 59.5, well I know I have a losing parlay and I have no energy to post what I'm on and listen to Herman tell me what a loser I am.
The parlay, yeah one game lost, any guesses as to which one it was?

Today I wen back to play gold again since I played so poorly yesterday and played poorly again but at least I didn't buy out the Pro Shop again. Tonight I am on Atlanta Hawks -3.5. Fire away Herman.

The love shown here did not go un-noticed.
 
damn wally, you should have let someone know you were lookin for range finders...i got 2 Bushnells that i dont use anymore... I have the new Callaway uPro that is bombdiggity , so i dont need the other ones and will probably end up giving them to someone at the club in the spring.
 
Which models RayRay? I bought the Tour V2 yesterday cause that's what they had and it was an impulse. I would still like to have the Tour 1500 or 1600. I had a U-Pro and yes they are great units but, Wally tends to be careless and leave things on the dash of the cart instead of cup holders and things Wally leaves there tend to slide off. People playing behind Wally have a new U-Pro, and old Sky Caddy and a Callaway range finder.

Wouldn't buying things from the proshop at a golf course be -EV

I believe the dividing line between north/south in the USA is determined by squirrel hunters, those that shoot/kill/eat squirrels are in the south.

Amby, surrender your Young Republican’s card immediately. It was an impulse purchase so naturally it's -EV. Amby when it comes to spending I am always -EV, I can say in all honesty I have never once used a coupon. I have bought closeout items but only name brands.

Plomsicle not only do I not own a fishing pole so have no need to buy tackle, I do not own a gun so have no need for ammo. I do not buy golf merchandise from Walmart. O’ Wal’s redneck begins and ends with his accent.
