Do the Tampa Rays Need a New Ballpark?

I still don't think a new stadium would help matters...no matter where it is. I know you guys have a better understanding being from the area....but they couldn't sell out games when they were in the World SERIES a couple years ago.
 
Mr. M, the retractable roof stadium here in Miami should make a huge difference once it opens in 2012. The location of it at the site of the old Orange Bowl close to downtown gives much more of the Miami population easier access to the games. If they can build a contending team by 2012, which I think is very possible with the young talent they have in place, the Miami Marlins might become a pretty hot ticket.

Isn't it something like 9/10 of everyone that goes to a Marlins game now some blanquito from Broward? I dunno, I think the latins down south won't give a crap about the that team.
