Costa rica seems like mexico, they just sent a b squad. This is a youth squad for Costa Rica and that always poses some problem trying to figure out these games. Some of these young guys are desperate to show their skills and it looks like from Argentinas showing , some teams are more worried about qualifying for the world cup or at least Messi just isn't performing for them at national level again,I don't know.

Motivation for alot of these teams seems to really be a big consideration in Copa America, Colombia seems like they have alot to play for. Their coach said he would quit if they don't make it through the group stage.

Love the pick Rogie, I just wish I had of put more on Bolivia. Great call

They have to, Concacaf is making them take another team from the Gold Cup, as to give more prestige and exclusivity to their own local tournament instead of one where they are just "invited". Which is bs I think.

Interesting.I enjoyed the opening festivities at Argentina, thats the only thing Argentinians seem happy about right now in regards to their national squad and this tourney.Do you think they beat Brazil?

I thought it looked like a slide and he just got his leg caught up, I am watching this in spanish so I am not understanding all the commentary and watching it on the computer so just glancing at it and doing some work at home.

I was glad to see the guy go though, now all we need is one more goal and we are good
 
I voulunteered to ref a soccer game last week for a friend I play with. I am going to get me some of that, just to stand out and as a form of self defense against angry parents and soocer dads and moms. spray it at them to stay on the sidelines.

maybe a late goal here to cover, these costa ricans arent too bad from what I have seen
