Reno hit the nail on the head. That was not a good fight. It's been called entertaining because of Mayweather's history of boring fights. If that same fight happened between two unknown fighters, our reaction would've been "meh". The fight wasn't entertaining. The build up with the distinct possibility of a boring fight set the barometer low.
