I used date a girl from Brazil and she moved here and she didn't like the states much at first because she lived in the suburbs. She was so far from family and friends , in the burbs you have to drive everywhere.

Do you live downtown anywhere Rogie? That makes a world of difference in the states, if you can walk to restaurants, bars, and clubs it is alot more fun, especially living in a beach town.
