I mean it's only so difficult when your product is saving people their own money which is what I do, but it is just fucking magical.

I seriously fucking live for it. I don't mean to be all Boiler Room but it really is a Godly feeling.

Pow. ABC baby. AB fucking C.

I took a sales course (offered for free by a local GM dealership - they were looking to hire from the course participants) and read books on sales and motivation (ie Zig Ziglar) but was never interested in actually becoming a salesperson.

Learning sales techniques has made me a better negotiator as I'm much more prepared for dealing with salespeople.
I really enjoy the negotiating process and when a relative (usually female) is looking to buy a new vehicle I'm often asked if I would go along to handle dealership salespeople.

I've come to the conclusion that most sales techniques are basic and childish.
I actually relish the opportunity to fuck with dealership sales guys.

The key in negotiating is to always remain in control.

My last car I bought they I walked out 3 times before we settled on a price. They kept following me out to the parking lot. I got bunch of extra shit, tshirts and hats, and most importantly a warranty thrown in. Good thing for the warranty because 3 days later the AC broke. They claimed it was not covered which was bullshit. i threw a hissy fit, started throwing shit around the dealership. yelling as loud as I could. Customers were walking out, because they were scared, so thye fix the AC and extended the warranty even longer to just shut me up.

stupid people could always be convinced of almost anything, and always will be

smart people never fall for the tricks that work on stupid people, and never did and never will

there are people in the middle who fall for slicker manipulations, but can defend themselves against specific tactics once they are told exactly what they are - but usually in the process, leave them open for other more devious manipulations

stevie i like you a lot, in fact bordering on love (which tactic of persuasion is that, by the way? if you're as sharp as you are, you'll know (and which more advanced tactic of persuasion was me asking you what tactic of persuasion that was, by the way? that one I doubt you know about, in fact it's one that only super smart people independently realize on their own)) but you could not sell me sh*t, in fact you probably couldn't sell me sh*t I desperately need and want because I would think it was funnier to NOT buy it, even though I desperately needed it

if you think you can, CALL ME BRO LETS FUKIN DO THIS BRO IM NOT SCARED OF YOU SON I GOT MY FUKIN DEBIT CARD OUT RIGHT NOW CALL ME COMMON
