The Italian Giants have hit back at Arsenal in the fight to land Real Madrids striker Gonzalo Higuain.
The Old Lady were reportedly stunned by a report claiming that the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had met with the Argentina internationals father Jorge who also plays the role of Gonzalos agent.
Arsenal had earlier made it their priority to land the signature of Higuain and they are all set to meet the 19million asking price for the Argentine and are also ready to pay him 150,000 a-week wage, which would make him the highest paid Arsenal player of all time.
However, Juve made the most of their opportunity on Sunday at the Santiago Bernabu, where they made their pitch before a match between former stars of Real Madrid and Juventus which astonishingly drew a crowd of more than 80,000.
It is believed that the president of the Italian Giants Andrea Agnelli met his opposite number from the La Liga Florentino Perez, at a restaurant in the Bernabu. This insures that Juve are indeed desperate to bring the Argentine to Turin, who at just the age of 25 has his best years ahead of him.
The Real Madrid president has insisted that the Bernabu outfit is not trying to push the player out the door, and leaving the side would only be his own decision.
And so it is believed that both Arsenal and Juventus would only have to wait and see what the new Real Madrid manager which is still believed to be Carlo Ancelotti would want to do with the player.
