One of the guys I work with has Ghostbusters in his top 10 movies all-time, in fact I think it might be #1. All of his top 10 movies are comedies. He's a guy that likes to laugh. He has kind of a stupid laugh. His laugh would not be out of place as the third laugh with Beavis and Butthead. He laughs at a lot of stuff I don't find funny. That is not an unusual experience for me. I have a sophisticated sense of humor and there is a lot of stuff in this world that is considered hilarious that doesn't get a smile out of me. Mel Brooks and Blake Edwards come to mind. A zillion other things.

I guess it must be nice to find just about every attempt at humor to actually be funny. Laughing is a good thing. Laughing is enjoyable. Yet for some reason I am not jealous of people who laugh at every stupid thing and therefore have more laughter in their life than me. I am not looking to trade places.

I can't decide if that is shallow or deep of me.

I recall thinking that Ghostbusters was pretty good.

RIP Harold.

Can't blame someone for putting Ghostbusters in their Top 10.

We have this woman at work whose standard response to anything said to her is a loud laugh. That's her way of telling negative nellies like myself to piss off with their shitty/cynical attitude.

God bless light-hearted people.

RIP Ghostbuster Guy

Buddyboy at work did watch Ghostbusters last night.

I did not mean to suggest his taste in humor was terrible. We share an appreciation of South Park, The Simpsons, The Daily Show, Coen Brothers and other stuff. The Big Lebowski is near the top of his movie list and I am on board with that.

My bigger criticism of him would be how delicate he is. He just seems very fragile. Plus he's a little too dependant on his I-phone.

But he is not the prime example of a person who laughs at the most horrid shit. Like he doesn't go home and watch Hot in Cleveland or whatever.

Continue to rest in peace, Harold Ramis.

What has been decided or should I say reduced is your chance at winning Gamelive Lady Byng.

It's as good a time as any to point out that my "Gamelive's Lady Byng" comment has been misconstrued from day one. I told Pucky that winning "Canadian Poster of the year" was Gamelive's Lady Byng, i.e. the shitty trophy that no one wants to win 'cause it's fokkin' ghey.

Carry on.

Fok Lady Byng. In her tight little butt.
