well :common: Ray. As much as I don't care for the idea that today's athletes are superior there are some objective parameters, faster times etc..
Popular music is much more subjective. I would say, if anything Beatles did that what no one else can do. That is usher in an era of rock n roll which became culturally significant. Seems to me rock n roll as a politically and culturally significant thing is long dead and can never come back no matter how virtuoso the musicians. (not that I spend my time listening to Beatles records)

yeah I have no respect for Heather Mills. I believe she was after the money the whole time. She married a man old enough to be her father (who was grieving after his beloved wife died), had a child and then proceeded to trash him. No one ever heard of her until she married Paul. But this way, she became quasi-famous. And rich.

Jon Hamm completes rehab for struggle with alcohol addiction

"Im always surprised when people are like, 'I want to be just like Don Draper,'" he said to Time. Im like, 'You want to be a miserable drunk?' I dont think you want to be anything like that guy. "You want to be like the guy on a poster maybe but not the actual guy," he said. "The actual guys rotting from the inside out and has to pull it together."
