chicago, Boston, Detroit, New York, Philly, Toronto, Montreal.... are all in my head, which one/s don't belong? seems like there should be more than 2 canadian teams, am I missing one and adding two US teams?

thanks

A bit of trivia. After existing as those 6 teams for many years, the NHL expanded and doubled in size for the 1967-68 season. Can you name those 6 expansion teams?

We already have Philly and I'll list the others below it in white:

Philadelphia Flyers
Pittsburgh Penguins
St. Louis Blues
Los Angeles Kings
Minnesota North Stars
California Seals

Bad ass teenager at that! Fuk yo! St. Louis, and LA were two others. Know the Blues cause they won the western division I think the first year?

All the expansion teams were put in their own division. Saint Louis made it through the division to the Cup finals the first three years (losing all three).

Philly was the first expansion team to win the Stanley Cup.

(In case I wasn't clear, the answer to the trivia question is in the post where I asked it. You just need to drag your mouse and highlight the area under where it says the Flyers.)
