i do hate atlantic city its dirty trashy and disgusting. it is a disgusting waste of money surrounded by the trashiest people (though nascar was worse).

that being said, I went for my best friends 30th birthday. While she gambled all day yesterday I got into the exclusive pool on the Borgata rooftop and made friends with some hotties. That was pretty sweet. Fri night we went to a few clubs, they were okay.

I don't need to go back any time soon, the cigarette smell was so bad that the stench is all over my clothes. The people are rude and trashy. While I found a good way to pass the time, I'd rather go to the Hamptons. And since I don't gamble, I don't need to go to AC.

i don't gamble. my friends all wasted thousands of dollars on slot machines. then were unable to go out and complained about money the whole time because they blew it all. I played $60 on a few machines and it was the fastest I have ever lost $60. I could have spent that money on food or drinks or a ticket to a show there, and actually enjoyed myself. Theres a reason why Casino's make money, because most people loose. I watched my friend put in $100, then she made $280, I told her to walk, but she kept playing and lost it all. That's why I don't care for it, people don't know when to stop. I never won. I put $20 into a machine and saw it get smaller and smaller and never win. I just don't like it. It's not for me....

There are ways to win at gambling, but playing slot machines or table games where the house has a build in edge aren't among them. But these action junkies will never get it. It's mathematically impossible for them to win in the long run but they keep trying.
