the film is not called limelight. it is called Party Monster and it's based on the book Disco Blood Bath.

I was obsessed with that culture when I first moved in NYC.

I wish I'd been in the city and 19 years old in 1995 to club with them.

I am not going to mention any names, but you know a couple of people I went to Limelight with back in the day. In fact one night, one of them had his jacket catch on fire at a club called Peggy Sue's owned by Matt Dillion. He was trying to buy weed from a dealer and accidentally got a burning cigarette ash caught on his jacket (at the time you were allowed to smoke inside). The best part was he started to jump up and down to stamp out the small flame, and at the same time Kriss Kross was playing "Jump".

No, it's called Limelight. You're talking about a different movie that came out a while ago.

Limelight is the name of a movie about Peter Gatien that was released roughly 3 weeks ago.
