please feel free to pull your own facts and show me that the college you graduated from (how many years back???) is better than the one i graduated from. You will find that it is comparing apples to oranges. Besides different schools within the universities have different admission policies etc.

oh and by the way I'm talking about GRADUATE SCHOOL, not undergrad. Do you have your masters?

LOL. You can't even remember that YOU'RE the one that brought it up. Jesus Christ.

Why would I waste my time in grad school?

One thing that really, truly pisses me off is that people that think that they're smarter based on the amount of education that they get. It doesn't matter where or how many degrees a person has. It's not a sign of intellect. I know a lot of dumb people that have many college degrees (yes, graduate and post-grad). I also know many brilliant people that don't have a college degree. A person's worth is not based on the amount of education that they have.

VERY sore subject for me...and I'm done ranting.

I'm with Teela here,

by and large Grad School is easier in many subjects..... its like undergrad review for more focus and concentration on practical knowledge.

I was lucky to have an advisor that really pushed me and made sure I got practicum and internships for my last 3 semesters required Interns/Pracs/Supervisions that would stretch, teach, and challenge me. not just a place to rack up 600 hrs and get my papers signed.

Education anymore is just a passport to privilege and in reality isn't even that in many fields.

just a piece of paper that says, look at me.... I had enough time to show up for this class 3 hrs a week an regurgitate some info and write some easy papers... woo hoo!!!

In reality, ANYONE can get a degree. It doesn't matter how brilliant or how much of an idiot the person is. I just have issues that someone isn't worth as much or their contributions to society are worth less because of a lack of a degree.
